Less than 24 hours after 25 people were killed in different bomb attacks on beer parlours in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital has witnessed yet another explosion. This time, the target was the Custom’s Mammy market located in the central area of the town. Maiduguri residents disclosed to Street Journal that the attackers, suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect surrounded the area and were shooting sporadically as the explosive device went off. They apparently wanted to make sure there were no survivors.
