Two Soldiers have been apprehended in Jos in connection with the recent abduction of Super Eagles’ star, John Mikel Obi’s father. Obi who was kidnapped on his way from work on the 12th of August was freed after 10 days and he was taken from Jos to Kano by his abductors.
The victim had disclosed that he was abducted by men wearing army uniforms leading to speculations that the kidnappers might have had military back up.
Street Journal’s investigations have revealed that two soldiers have been nabbed for alleged involvement in the abduction while investigation goes on.
Police sources have revealed that the kidnappers were looking forward to millions of US dollars in ransom before they were apprehended.
