The Lekki Division of the Nigeria Police Force has declared a man simply identified as Mr. Kazeem wanted for allegedly dispossessing four ladies of their valuables. The ladies reported that the man (whose picture appears on the left) had met them on the popular social network, Facebook some months ago and they started chatting. The ladies told the police that they had chats both on Facebook and on Blackberry Messenger, through which they arranged a meeting. The ladies alleged that it was in the course of the meeting that he dispossessed them of their belongings.
Street Journal gathered that one of the victims resides in Port Harcourt while another lives in Igando, Lagos.
The lady from Port Harcourt flew to Lagos on Friday after having arranged to meet with Kazeem in an eatery in Lekki. It was also gathered that the man in question arrived Lekki in company of another lady he had picked up at Magodo junction, also on appointment. Street Journal gathered that he told the lady that he had to see some people in Lekki after which he promised to take her out. On arrival at the eatery in Lekki, he told the lady that accompanied him that he had to see some girls in the eatery. He ended up leaving the eatery in company of four girls.
He introduced the girl in his car to the other four as his cousin and he told the five girls that he was taking them to La Campagne Tropicana for a treat.
On getting somewhere close to Abijo on the Lekki-Epe expressway, the car stopped. As the 5 ladies were made to understand that the car had developed a fault, they all agreed to alight and give the car a push, leaving all their phones, money, handbags and other valuables in the car. Police sources confirmed that after a little push, the car zoomed off thus leaving the girls stranded.
