The Rumuola axis of Port Harcourt bore the semblance of a war zone on Monday morning when armed robbers attacked two banks and a private company in the area. The robbers shot sporadically not minding who got hit. About seven innocent people were killed in the attack, including staff of a company that was also attacked by the robbers and a mobile policeman.
The robbers left with huge sums of money. .
Incidentally, just weeks ago, a supermarket was robbed in Port Harcourt in which a mobile policeman was killed.
