WHEN? we have heard enough of the inept carelessness to handle the innocent lives that were entrusted to you in April last year. Come off your high horse and face it mr president and his cabinet, the continual maladroit attitude to the whole boko haram issue is costing lives and precious ones at that if i may add. We hear of bombings and killings everyother day, these boko menace did not just appear from thin air. The sooner you address the root cause of this problem and that has besigned the nation, the better for all including yourself. And please do us the honour, stop sending you speech maker to issue a statement on your behalf. The people you have so carelessly failed to protect deserve a better show of respect. The least you can do is to put everything on hold and address this issue of killing head on.
‘Only a mad man goes to bed when his roof is on fire’. This problem will not go away, the bloodthirsty organisation has come to stay or atleast destroy and it has just started in my opinion, if it is not addressed with a definitive aim of putting an end to it, the nation will suffer and your legacy with it (if you care enough for the legacy).
The nation is boiling and the life of one Nigerian is more important than the radical and isolated policies that you claim to be working on. The man whose house is on fire does not go hunting for a rat. These heartless people want attention, give it to them in a way they unexpect. Seek for international cooperation and assistance if you have to. Just do something about the killing. A sad and mourning nation can never be productive whether economically, socially or intellectually. Do not mistake Nigerian’s God given ability to get over crises easily to mean they do not care or feel anything at all. I leave you with one question to guide you, ‘if your immediate family was involved or even threatened, what will you do?’
