Soldiers Injured As Bombs Rock Maiduguri!

After what seemed like a short break, explosions resumed in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital on Tuesday. Several members of the Joint Task Force who were on patrol were injured when a bomb that was planted near the West End roundabout exploded.

There were indications that the bomb was detonated via a remote control. After the Tuesday morning explosion at the West End Roundabout, another explosion was reported in Sabon Layi an area in Gwange Ward.

Lt Col Musa Sagir, the JTF spokesman who confirmed the incident said a full media briefing would be conducted later.
