Officials at the St. James’s Palace, the official residence of the British Monarchy on Friday disclosed that the Royal Family consulted with French lawyers over topless pictures of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate, published by a French Magazine, Closer.
Street Journal gathered that the pictures were taken when the duchess and her husband, Prince William were on holiday last week at the French chateau of the Queen’s nephew, Lord Linley.
The couple considers the photos to be a breach of their privacy on what was a personal break.
The published photos are blurry and taken with a long lens but are clearly of the royal couple. The magazine published four pages of pictures of the royal couple and the duchess appeared topless in some of them.
The royal couple will be visiting a mosque in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in continuation of their break.
Nude pictures of Prince William’s brother Harry as he partied with close friends had been published some weeks ago.
It will be recalled that Princess Diana, Prince William’s mum died in Paris, France in August 1997 in a car crash while trying to avoid pursuing paparazzi.
