Horror In UNIJOS As Gunmen Invade Campus!

By NewsAdmin on September 26, 2012

There was pandemonium in the University of Jos on Wednesday as gunmen suspected to be cultists stormed the institutions campus and opened fire on students. Street Journal gathered that the suspected cultists who had come for a certain student apparently missed their target  and shot two female students of the English Language Department in error. Another student was also reportedly killed in the attack.

After the shooting, the suspected cultists took to their heels. They were however chased by angry students who summoned courage.

One of the attackers was apprehended and was instantly killed by angry students. The other escaped with injuries, though he was later apprehended and handed over to policemen. Reports say he was shot with the handgun recovered from him.

The Police PRO of the Plateau State Command, Emmanuel Abu confirmed the incident.
