79-year-old Adegbite passed away in Lagos, on Friday evening and his demise was officially announced by the Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun. He was a founding member and the first National President of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria. He trained as a lawyer in England and lectured in the University of Lagos. He was until his death the Seriki Musulumi and Baba Adini of Egbaland. He would be buried in his house in Onikolobo, Abeoukuta on Saturday afternoon.
