The Super Eagles have been drawn in what many term an easy group ahead of next year’s African Cup of Nations. Nigeria has been drawn in Group C alongside Ethiopia, Zambia and Burkina Faso.
It is believed that not being drawn in the same group with the likes of Ghana, Ivory Coast of hosts South Africa will boost the Eagles’ chances in the competition.
South Africa, Cape Verde, Morocco and Angola will compete in Group A while Ghana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Niger and Mali are in Group B.
Group C has Nigeria, Zambia, Ethiopia and Burkina Faso while Group D consists of Ivory Coast, Togo, Algeria and Tunisia.
Soccer analysts believe the group will enable the Eagles build their confidence before the competition reaches the knock out stages.
