About 20 people were killed on Sunday when gunmen opened fire on a set of Muslim worshippers as they were leaving a mosque in Kaduna State. About 20 people died in the gun attack. The incident took place in Dogo Dawa, in the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area and has been confirmed by the State’s Commissioner of Police, Olufemi Adenaike.
Some people within Kaduna State have speculated that a clash between Muslim farmers and some nomadic herdsmen, who incidentally are Muslims led to the attack.
