FG Declares Thursday, Friday Public Holidays For Sallah

The Federal Government on Monday announced Thursday 25th and Friday 26th October as public holidays to mark the 2012 Eid El-Kabir celebrations. 

The disclosure came via an announcement from the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro. He urged Muslims to emulate the tenets of Islam as practiced by Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). He also urged Nigerians to use the period to pray for the nation.
