Men of the Joint Task Force on Sunday apprehended seven suspected suicide bombers at a check point along Kagoro Highway in Kagoro Local Government Area of Kaduna State. The suspects six of whom are men were heading for Lafia, Nassarawa State when they were arrested by the security agents. They were reportedly travelling from Kano State. The arrest was confirmed by Sani Usman, the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations 1 Div who disclosed Improvised Explosive Devices were found in their possessions when they were searched.
The arrest took place about 48 hours after some suspected members of the Boko Haram sect shot and killed 13 health workers who were administering polio vaccines in Kano State.
