2 Arrested as Police Recover Vehicle Stolen At Car Wash!

Two men have been arrested by men of the Ogun state Police command in connection with the stealing of a Toyota Camry car. Police sources disclosed that the suspects who were arrested on Sunday stole the car with Registration Number EL 989 GGE at a car wash in Lagos on Sunday.
The suspects were intercepted by a Highway Patrol police team on Stop and Search point along Lagos/Benin Express way around 5.30 pm on Sunday.
Spokesman of the Ogun State Police Command, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi told Street Journal that the 2 suspects, Kenechukwu Anarhi and Clarkson Ovoke have confessed to the crime and are still helping the police in their investigation.

The PPRO also made it known that the owner of the recovered car has been contacted and he confirmed that the car was stolen at a car wash in Lagos on Sunday 15th September 2013.

In a statement issued by Adejobi, the command assured the general public of adequate security during the ’ember’ months and beyond.
The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State, CP Ikemefuna Okoye also appreciated the general public for regular sharing of information and collaboration in achieving effective policing of Ogun State.
