A High Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos State, on Tuesday granted bail to alleged fraudster, Fred Ajudua.
While ruling on the bail application, the judge stated that the accused person does not deserve to be held in custody as he is suffering from kidney-related health problems.
Ajudua who is standing trial for allegedly defrauding a Dutch national had earlier been refused bail by Justice Oyewole of a Lagos court after he had jumped bail for several years and a bench warrant had to be issued. Ajudua had claimed he was out of the country attending to some health challenges.
He was admitted to bail in the sum of N50 million with two sureties in like sum.
