Ogun SARS Commander Dies in Auto Crash!

The Ogun State police command on Saturday lost one of its gallant officers, Superintendent of Police(SP) Folahan Ogunkoya, the Officer in charge Anti Robbery Team State CID Eleweran Abeokuta Ogun State. Ogunkoya died in a fatal car crash on Saturday.
Street Journal gathered that the officer who was driving his Honda Accord (End of Discussion) with Registration Number Lagos MZ 717 AAA suddenly lost control and crashed at Asu village along Sagamu/Abeokuta Express way around 4pm on Saturday, 14th September.
Fola Ogunkoya was born in Ijebu Ode Ogun State in 1972 to the family of Pa Ogunkoya.
Before he joined the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police on May 1st 2000, he attended the then Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University) in Ago Iwoye where he bagged a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and later his Masters of Science in Leeds University United Kingdom.
He was a seasoned officer who was well loved for his diligence.
Muyiwa Adejobi, the command’s spokesman confirmed that the Commissioner of Police Ogun State, CP Ikemefuna Okoye has commiserated with officers and men of the command, members of the deceased’s family in Ijebu Ode as well as friends and the good people of Ogun State on the sudden demise of such a wonderful crime buster in the State.
Ogunkoya’s remains was laid to rest on Sunday in his home town Ijebu Ode Ogun State.
He is survived by wife and three children.
