President Goodluck Jonathan, on Friday shook off the illness that landed him in a London hospital as he attended the Honourary International Investors Conference which was held at the Hilton Hotel in Park Lane, London.
Following a stomach related issue, President Jonathan could not attend the opening session of the conference on Thursday and had to undergo a medical examination.
He however attended the conference on Friday in company of Senator Dalhatu Tafida, Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the UK and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr Nurudeen Mohammed. The President apologized for his inability to attend Thursday’s session. He was received by the Coordinator, Baroness Lynda Chalker.
