34e Director of Defencee Information, Maj. Gen Chris Olukolade, on Friday disclsed that 13 terrorists were killed during a military raid on a makeshift camp being run by the terrorist group. The affected camp lies between Borno and Adamawa states.
Olukolade also made it known that some of the terrorists who escaped the raid were arrested by men of the special forces.
The Director of Indormation disclosed explained that there was panic in Shuwa when people mistook the convoy of troops in pursuit of the terrorists for the insurgents.
He explained that the commotion was caused by the
Military ttucks which were mistaken for insurgents on a mission for another attack.
Olukolade also stateid that the confusion sparked the rumour that the Governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako, was attacked while visiting the community.
