Indications emerged on Monday that Chief Mike Oghiadomhe, the Chief of Staff to the President has been relieved of his position. Oghiadomhe who hails from Fugar in Edo State was the Deputy Governor in the days of Lucky Igbinedion as the Governor of Edo State. He and the President became close back then.
He was said to have lost favour with the President following reports that allegedly linked him with some contract scams at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). Street Journal’s findings revealed that the former Deputy Governor was asked to resign.
There are also strong indications that Alhaji Al-Hassan Tukur might be the next Chief of Staff to the President.
