The Senate on Wednesday confirmed the appointment of Nigeria’s former Ambassador to Ghana, Senator Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro as a Minister.
It was obvious he would have it easy considering the fact that the Senate is still made of a good number of his old colleagues. His confirmation followed a brief speech he delivered when he appeared for screening at the Senate. He was subsequently asked to take a bow and go. He was given the honour, being a one time Senator.
The screening of other nominees was ongoing as of the time of filing this report.
