Armed Robbers Storm Church During Service in Ibadan!

. Snatch tithes and offerings

For worshipers at The Vine Branch church in Yemetu, Ibadan, the first Sunday in the month of March 2014 came with a somewhat nasty experience as armed robbers invaded the church just as the service was drawing to a close.

Eyewitnesses disclosed that the 7-man robbery gang entered the Church around 12:30pm while the service was going on.  In what appeared to be a well planned and executed plot, the robbers arrived after tithes and offerings had been collected. Within minutes, they took control of the service as they ordered members to lie down. A church member who spoke on the incident said “they disrupted the service and took away lots of money, phones and other items.”

The incident has been confirmed by Pastor Sola Kolade the Resident Pastor who stated that the operation lasted for about 15 minutes while some members were injured.
