.Says no plan to increase pump price
The Minister for Petroleum Resources, Mrs Diezani Alison Madueke has arrived Lagos.
The Minister’s trip to Lagos is part of the efforts to ensure that the fuel scarcity being experienced across the country is brought to an end.
The minister inspected fuel stations including Conoil, Airport Road, Ikeja, Mobil, Gbagada and the Mobil filling station at Obalende. While speaking during the inspection, she assured Nigerians that the government has no plan of increasing the pump price of petrol.
The Executive Director, Commercial of the PPMC had arrived Lagos days ago and some revelations have been made in the course of his tour around Lagos. He personally caught some fuel stations that were hoarding fuel. He ordered the immediate sale of the product in such stations and was on hand to ensure that the order was carried out.
