An explosion rocked a crowded bus station in Abuja on Monday morning.
The Nyanya bus station packed full with commuters was rocked by a blast which killed several people who were heading towards the capital city. The attack took place in Nyanya, a very busy area. Not less than 200 people are believed to have been affected by the explosion.
Manzo Ezekiel, an official of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) disclosed earlier today that “Rescue teams are already on ground. There were so many people there at that time, so we think there must have been some injuries”.
Though no one has claimed responsibility for the attack but the Boko Haram sect is suspected to have been the perpetrators.
Findings have revealed that most of the people working in the Federal Capital live in the suburbs.
