Boko Haram Shows Abducted Girls in New Video

. Gives Condition for their release

The Boko Haram terrorist group, on Monday morning

released a video purportedly showing about 130 of the

234 girls they abducted at the Government Girls Secondary School,

Chibok, Borno State.

In the video which lasted about 17 minutes,

some people were seen in the Islamic

covering for women, the hijab.

CNN aired the video and made it known that it was first obtained by the

French news agency, AFP.BnbgaxWIMAALpUf

The people wearing hijab were reciting verses from the Qur’an when the video was recorded.

Though the identities of the girls could not be confirmed, the leader of the sect, Abubakar Shekau stated that

they were the same girls abducted in

Chibok on April 14, 2014.

The Boko Haram sect has also given a condition for the  release of the girls. The group said they will only free the abducted girls

in exchange for their members who are being held

in various detention centres across the country.
