Former Leader of the Youth Wing of the African National Congress (ANC) and founder of the Economic Freedom Fighters, Julius Malema on Saturday dedicated his party’s election results to the over 200 Nigerian school girls abducted by militants in Chibok, Borno State.
While briefing newsmen at the National Results Operation Centre in Pretoria, South Africa, Malema said “We dedicate this victory to our beautiful girls in Nigeria. It looks impossible, but we have proved what looks impossible is possible. Africa needs to grow and there are other means of protest…please return the girls.”
He described Boko Haram’s tactics as “stupid” stating that such tactics “undermined the intelligence of the African people”.
The girls were kidnapped from Government Secondary School, Chibok on April 14.
