Alhaji Adamu Attah, the first civilian Governor of Kwara State has died.
Attah died in Abuja on Thursday.
He was elected as the Governor of Kwara State (comprising of Kwara and Kogi Statess)in the Second Republic on the platform of the National Party of Nigeria.
Attah hailed from Ebiraland and in the gubernatorial race, he enjoyed tremendous support from Dr. Olusola Saraki a phenomenon in Kwara politics.
One of his major contributions to the development of his state was the establishment of the Obangede Specialist Hospital.
He was known to be a polo enthusiast.
