Wash Pam, Former Deputy Senate President is Dead

Senator John Wash Pam, a former Deputy President of the Senate has died. Senator Pam, who was the Deputy President of the Senate in the Second Republic, when Senator Joseph Wayas held sway as Senate President between 1979 and 1983.
He died around 1.25 pm on Thursday, having battled prostrate cancer for some time. In his lifetime, Senator Pam was a prominent leader in Berom land. He hailed from the Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State.
He was 73 years old.
