Boko Haram Kills Scores Near Chibok

Suspected members of the Boko Haram sect, on Sunday struck near Chibok, Borno State as they raided churches where worshippers had gathered for the morning service.
The terrorists swooped on villages about 10 km from Chibok armed with rifles and explosive devices. No fewer than 3 churches were torched in the attack.
Residents of the area had also alleged that the attackers had their way as soldiers were late in coming to their rescue.
In the attack which affected Kwada, Kautikari and Guradina, all in Chibok Local Government Area, about 20 people were believed to have been killed by the terrorists.
A member of the Borno State House of Assembly, Hon Foni Aimu disclosed that the terrorists had threatened to attack his constituents days before they made good the threat.
Hundreds of schoolgirls were abducted in Chibok in April, most of them are yet to be found.
