The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations Ogun State Chapter has honoured one of her members, Muyiwa Adejobi,the Police Public Relations Officer Ogun State Command,as the OUTSTANDING PR PROFESSIONAL 2014.
The award ceremony was part of the programmes lined up for the NIPR’s 2014 Colloquium with the theme “Role of the Professions in National development” held on Thursday at the hall of Continental Suite,Ibara,Abeokuta Ogun State
Those honoured also included Alhaji Bada,Chief Oluwalogbon Enilolobo, Alhaji Noah Sodeinde and Miss Onala.
The paper was delivered by a legal practitioner Barrister Francis Ogunbowale who challenged all stakeholders to brace up towards building a better Nigeria through professionalism.
The Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun FCA, was represented by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy. Also in attendance were Alhaji Yusuff Olaniyonu,the Registrar NIPR, Dr Adebayo, as well as past Chairmen of NIPR in Ogun State.
DSP Muyiwa Adejobi was commended for the good job he is doing in the state and for his efforts towards redeeming the image of the Nigeria Police Force particularly at the time of challenges.
In his response, Adejobi promised to add more pep in promoting the on going reform agenda of the Inspector General of Police, MD Abubakar;and dedicated the award to the Force Public Relations Office ACP Frank Mba on his new promotion to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police.
