SSS Quizes Ezekwesili On Her Way To London

Former Minister for Education, Mrs. Obiageli Ezekwesili was on Monday morning quizzed by operatives of the Department of State Security as she was about to board a flight to London at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Abuja.
Ezekwesili who has been at the forefront of the “Bring Back our Girls” campaign was reportedly scheduled to be a guest on Hard Talk, a BBC programme. She took to twitter to make her plight known.
Her first tweet was “is this a democracy? I am being detained by the SSS @ Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. The SSS has refused to give my passport to me.
On my way this morning for my @BBCHARDtalk appearance billed for tomorrow and the SSS has detained me by withholding my passport.”
Not long after, she tweeted “SSS has released it. Just barely made the BA flight. Lat to board @ 7.55 for an 8 am flight that is now taxiing. IS THIS A DEMOCRACY?” She continued, “No one can seize my constitutional rights. I refused to let the SSS get away with TRAMPLING ON MY CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT. ”
