Ebola Kills Liberian Doctor Despite Using ZMAPP

The Liberian Government on Monday announced that the country’s Deputy Chief Medical Doctor, Abraham Borbor who had the anti-Ebola drug, ZMAPP administered on him has died.
Borbor’s death was announced in Monrovia by the Minister for Information, Lewis Brown. Doctors had been hopeful that Borbor would make a full recovery when they saw him walking around on Sunday. He however gave up hours later.
The Minister also disclosed that 4 of the protesters involved in the disturbance that occurred at the West Point Township site where Ebola patients were quarantined have tested positive to the disease.
It will be recalled that some residents and relatives of patients stormed the centre and allowed some of the patients to escape.
