Enugu Gets New Deputy Governor

Ralph Nwoye, a clergy man cum politician has been confirmed as the new Deputy Governor of Enugu State. Nwoye’s name was forwarded to the House of Assembly on Wednesday after the position became vacant following the impeachment of Mr. Sunday Onyebuchi.
The former Deputy Governor was impeached on allegations of gross misconduct which included raising chickens in the Government House and his alleged refusal to represent the Governor, Sullivan Chime at some functions.
Nwoye, a former caretaker Local Government Chairman is a Pastor at the Christ Ascension Church, Enugu.
Meanwhile, there are indications that the impeached Deputy Governor will seek redress in the court of law as Onyebuchi had told the investigative panel that recommended his impeachment that the Governor too has a piggery in the Government House.
