Siasia – I’ve An Unfinished Business With Eagles

Former Super Eagles coach Samson Siasia has insisted that he has an unfinished business with the senior national after his unceremonious exit in 2011.
He was appointed as head coach of the Super Eagles on November 4 ahead of former Togo coach, Stephen Keshi but was relieved of his duty after he failed to qualify the Super Eagles for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea .
Knowing the politics and intricacy behind handling the Super Eagles, Siasia has reiterated his commitment to manage the team if giving the opportunity.
“It takes time to build a good team. Of course it is a thing of pride to be the coach once again. I have always felt I’ve an unfinished business with the Super Eagles considering the way I left.
“We had a great team that I could have built on for the future, but I was denied the opportunity and I really felt bad about it.”
Siasia played 51 times for Nigeria’s Super Eagles between 1984 and 1999 scoring 16 goals.
