Sierra Leone Declares Lockdown Over Ebola

The government of Sierra Leone has announced a four-day lockdown to try to tackle the Ebola Virus Disease which has killed more than 20 health workers in the country since the outbreak started in March.
A senior government official stated that from September 18 to September 21, people will not be allowed to leave their homes.
This became necessary to allow health workers isolate new cases thereby preventing further spread of the disease.
Sierra Leone seems to be the worst hit West African country.
Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has announced that health workers could be given vaccines as from November, when safety tests must have been concluded.
