Breaking News: Tinubu Asks Lagos Residents To Defend Themselves Against Gani Adams’ Provocation

The current hate campaign in the country took another dimension some minutes ago when former Governor of Lagos State and leader of All Progressive Congress APC Asiwaju Bola Tinubu asked Lagos residents to attack Gani Adams and his boys if they dare attack them (residents) again in Lagos.
Tinubu gave the directive at an interactive session with trade-men and artisans in Lagos by the flag bearer of APC in the March 29 presidential election, Gen Muhammadu Buhari rtd and other leadership of the party.
Tinubu noted with dismay the destructive attitude of Gani Adams-led members of Odua People’s Congress OPC during the anti-Jega protest in Lagos on Monday.
He however, pointed out that Gani Adams whom he said was doing the bidding of President Goodluck Jonathan, led his boys to disrupt the peace of Lagos during the protest. He said they were destroying APC candidates’ posters on the streets of Lagos. According to him, Gani Adams did not attack residents of Lagos during the ill-tempered protest but posters.
He however, said should Gani Adams dare attack any resident of Lagos, they should not hesitate to attack him and his boys in self-defense. In a speech replete with yoruba proverbs that suggest that freedom cannot be attained on a platter of gold, Tinubu said Nigerians should be prepared to defend themselves in the face of provocative attitudes of hoodlums that have taken advantage of the political situation in the country to cause mayhem in the state.
He however, urged trade-men and artisans in Lagos to vote Buhari for a better future for Nigeria.
He said Buhari would ensure adequate supply of electricity to enhance their trade and quality of life.
