PDP Governors To Meet Over New National Chairman For The Party

As part of efforts to move the Peoples Democratic Party forward, its governors will meet in Abuja on Monday to discuss ways of getting a new National Chairman for the party.

The meeting, which will be presided over by the chairman of the Forum, who is also the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, is expected to discuss how to get a substantive chairman for the party.

The party’s former National Chairman, Mr. Adamu Mu’azu, was pressurised to resign by some members of the party, including governors, following the disastrous outing of the party during the last general election.
