Chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory have passed a vote of confidence on the leadership style of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Alhaji Umar Doruwa, Kano State APC Chairman and spokesman of the group confirmed this development to State House correspondents in Abuja on Saturday after a meeting of the group with the president.
Doruwa said Buhari’s cardinal leadership style of respecting the rule of law, was a virtue that would further strengthen institutional structures and entrench genuine democratic culture in the country.
According to him, the group passed the vote of confidence on the president considering that in less than 100 days of the Buhari Administration, Nigerians had witnessed noticeable positive changes.
These changes, he said, included the president’s total commitment to resuscitate the economy, safeguard lives and property, as well as create employment opportunities for youths across the country.
