The National Publicity Secretary of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Olisa Metuh, on Thursday urged the Federal Government to probe every corrupt politician and not be selective in the exercise.
Metuh, who made the call during the Kogi State PDP Congress in Lokoja, described corruption as a crime against the common will of Nigerians.
He said: “We expect President Muhammadu Buhari’s government not to embark on selective probing of public office holders found wanting before or during his government
“If your hands are clean, you will not be afraid of any probe. Corruption is a crime against the people, the nation and our Constitution.’’
Metuh, therefore, suggested that every legitimate means should be deployed to fight public corruption and that the approach to eradicating corruption in Nigeria must be just.
He further advised the PDP members in the state to ensure that they were free of corruption in their dealings.
