The Inspector-General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase, has charged two newly promoted Deputy Inspectors-General of Police (DIGs) to bring their wealth of experience in service to bear in moving the Nigeria Police Force forward.
Arase who gave the charge while decorating the two officers in Abuja on Wednesday, urged them to work hard, adding that their promotion was a reward for their hard work.
“I will expect that in your contributions and decisions to move the Nigeria police force forward, your thoughts and decisions will not be primordial,“ he said.
Arase also admonished the decoarated officers to inject their wealth of experience for the purpose of improving the Police Management Team.
Those decorated by the I-G are: DIGs Chintua Amajor-Onu and Jubril Adeniji.
DIG Amajor-Onu, who spoke on behalf of the duo expressed gratitude for their elevation to their new ranks and pledged their loyalty to the country.
Amajor-Onu described the journey to the attainment of their new ranks as tough.
