PDP Rubbishes Buhari’s Ministerial List, Says Unworthy Of 6 Months Delay

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has said that the list of President Muhammadu Buharis’s ministerial nominees presented to the Senate on Tuesday by the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, is nothing worth the six months that it took Buhari to come up with after his election victory since the March 28 presidential elections.

The National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh, stated this in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday.
According to Metuh, the party had noted the list of ministerial nominees as announced by the Senate on Tuesday, but found nothing exciting about it.

The statement reads: “By a mere look at the list, one can tell that there is nothing to be excited about, especially considering the length of time it took the President to come up with it.

“Looking at the list, it is hard to put a finger on why it should take any serious-minded and focused government, six months after its election to assemble such a regular team.”

It  said the list and the length of time it took were a further confirmation of the fact that the APC-led administration was driven by propaganda and deceit.

This development, PDP said, had raised doubts on the sincerity of the anti-corruption crusade of President Buhari and the APC.
