773 Ekiti Workers to Benefit from N237m Car Loan

This is happy time for Ekiti workers. For many civil servants in the state who may not have dreamt of owning a car before retirement, the State Governor, Ayo Fayose, had approved the sum of N237m for 773 workers in the state to buy cars for themselves.
State Finance Commissioner, Toyin Ojo, who disclosed this in Ado Ekiti said the loan was borne out of Fayose’s administration concern for the welfare of the people of the state.
The commissioner said the loan was between N80,000 and N1.5 million, and would be paid in full to the beneficiaries.
He said the grade levels of the 773 beneficiaries were taken into consideration in approving the loan for them.
The commissioner said some applicants were unable to meet up with the requirements, howver, the state government would consider such in due course.
He advised civil servants who applied to check their names on the list at the state Accountant General’s office.
Ojo emphasized the commitment of the Fayose’s administration to the welfare of workers, promising that another batch of beneficiaries would soon follow.
