Okah’s Trial on Hold to Allow Him Recover from Surgery

The trial Charles Okah over the 2010 bombing of Abuja on Independent Day has been suspended due to Okah’s inability to attend trial.
Giving this suspension order, a Federal High Court, Abuja on Monday held that he had undergone surgery and needed time to fully recover to attend the trial.
Okah is being accused of masterminding the Abuja 2010 Independent Day bombing,
Presiding Judge, Justice Gabriel Kolawole in suspending the trial said, pending Okah’s recovery from surgery in the National Hospital, the trial will be put on hold.
“In view of the absence of the accused who had undergone a medical surgery in the National Hospital, Abuja, the trial shall be suspended till March 10 at 11:30 a.m,” Justice Kolawole, ruled.
