MASSOB Declares Nwodo, Wogu Persona non Grata in Eastern States

For daring to ask them to sheathe their sword and embrace the path of peace, the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), on Monday, declared former Governor of Enugu State, Okwesilieze Nwodo and former Minister of Labour and Productivity, Emeka Wogu, ‘persona non grata’ in Igbo land.

The movement said following the anti-Biafra stance allegedly taken by the two by telling the pro Biafra group to come to terms with the realities of the present Nigeria, they should dare not step their feet in any of Igbo soil.

MASSOB noted their statements at the All Progressives Congress, APC, South-east geopolitical zone meeting held last Sunday, in Enugu, where they cautioned MASSOB to abandon the agitation for Biafra and join in building Nigeria was antithetical to pursuits of a sovereign state for the Easterners.
