Suspected Ritualists Invade Edo Town, Kill Four

Suspected ritualists have reportedly invaded Ubiaja, Headquarters of Esan South East local government Area of Edo State, killing four persons.
The lawmaker representing the area in the State House of Assembly, Festus Udughele, told the House Wednesday that activities of unidentified evil men had led to the killing of some persons with their bodies mutilated.
He disclosed that a lifeless body of a woman was found inside a church, human skull discovered in a school, while a lifeless body of a middle aged man was seen with his organ mutilated, all in Ubiaja town.
The lawmaker also said a student of one of the tertiary institutions in the locality was also reportedly killed by suspected cultists during the last voters registration exercise in the state.
Irked by the killings, Udughele moved a motion of urgent public importance to curb further killing in the town.
A resolution followed with the House calling on the state police command and other security agencies in the state to as a matter of urgency beef up security at Ubiaja.
It also directed the security agencies to embark on proper investigations with a view to unravelling and prosecuting those involved in the dastardly acts.
