Rio Olympic Football: Dream Team Stop Denmark in Quarter-final, Draw Germany in Semi Final

Nigeria’s Dream Team have set up a semi-final clash with Germany, following their 2-0 victory over Denmark in Salvador, Brazil on Saturday in the quarter final match.
Goals from skipper, John Mikel Obi and Aminu Umar gave the win to the Samson Siasia-led team.
The first goal came when Imoh Ezekiel beat a defender for pace on the left and sent a low cross into the box which Mikel Obi slotted home in a spectacular fashion in the 15th minute of the tie.
Goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel, arguably the man-of-the match, made several point blank saves to keep Nigeria in the lead as the first half wound down.
The Nigerian side renewed their vigour in search of a second goal at the resumption of the second half.
They were however rewarded for their effort as Umar increased the tally through a header.
Nigeria will battle Germany in the semi-finals at the Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo on Wednesday.
Germany defeated Portugal by 4-0 to set up a semi-final with Nigeria.
