Ondo APC: Abraham Concedes Defeat, Congratulates Akeredolu

Dr Segun Abraham, the runner up in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in Ondo state, has conceded defeat to winner Rotimi Akeredolu, after a keenly contested poll. In a message issued on Sunday, September 4, a copy of which was made available to the Street Journal on Monday, Abraham congratulated Akeredolu, who emerged as the governorship candidate of the party in the state.

He said: “I congratulate Akeredolu, who emerged with 669 votes at the primary election of our great party, the APC in Ondo state. My special regards and admiration for the Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar and his team for their sterling quality and integrity in conducting the APC governorship primary in Ondo state.” Abraham also thanked his supporters despite defeat as he vowed to remain loyal to his party.
