Champions League: Real Madrid Beat Atletico Madrid To Enter Final

Isco’s goal late in the first half helped Real Madrid seal a 4-2 aggregate win over city rivals Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League semifinals, despite going down 1-2 on the night in the second leg. Saul Niguez’s header and Antoine Griezmann’s penalty had given Atletico a 2-0 lead in the game, but a tie-equalising third goal never came as Isco’s goal managed to subdue the hosts. This was Atletico’s last ever European game at the Calderon, as they will move to a new stadium next season.
