Breaking: Edo Governor Submits Names of Commissioner Nominees to House of Assembly

Seven months after his inauguration as Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki on Tuesday sent names of his commissioner nominees to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.
The names were contained in a letter he sent to the Speaker of the House, Justin Okonoboh, dated June 19, 2017.
The list contained a nominee from each of the 18 local government areas of the state, making a total of 18.
They are Yekini Idaiyi (Akoko-Edo), Paul Ohonbamu (Egor), Christopher Adesotu (Ovia South West), Mrs. Magdalene Ohenhen (Esan South East), Barr. Emmanuel Usoh (Esan North East), Jimoh Ijegbai (Owan East), Mr. Joseph Ugheoke (Estako Central), Mariam Abubakar (Estako West), Mika Amanokhai (Estako East) and Monday Osaigbovo (Ovia North East)
Others are Osazee Ero (Orhionmwon), David Osifo (Uhunmwode), Barr. E. Agbale (Esan Central), Osagie Inegbedion (Igueben), Prof. Yinka Omoregbe (Oredo), Reginald Okun (Owan West), Edorodion Erimona Oye (Ikpoba-Okha) and Amiolemen Osahon (Esan West).
The Speaker thereafter directed that each of the nominee submits 30 copies of their curriculum vitae to the House.
