As Obazee Emerges PDP Governorship Candidate in Anambra, Other Aspirants Kick

As Oseloka Obazee emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the November 18 Anambra governorship election in Anambra State, other aspirants are kicking.
Obazee defeated oil mogul Ifeanyi Ubah, Alex Obiogbulu and a Senator, Stella Oduah, among others, on Monday, to pick ticket of the party.
However, Ubah, Oduah, Prince John Emeka and a member of the House of Representatives, Lynda Ikpeazu cried blue murder.
They were said to have staged a protest at the venue of the primary election.
Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State and Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State led the committee appointed by the national leadership of the party to conduct the primary election.
The election held amidst tight security at the Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre in Awka, the state capital.
Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission were also present to monitor the election.
Speaking in a telephone interview with newsmen, Anayo Ekeanya, Special Adviser on Media to Senator Stella Oduah said the senator was among four other aspirants who staged a protest in Awka.
Ekeanya said other people who protested included: a member of the House of Representatives, Ikpeazu; Ubah as well as former Minister of State for Transportation, Prince Emeka.
