Chelsea Owner, Abramovich Splits from 3rd Wife, Highest Divorce Settlement Envisaged

Owner of Chelsea Football Club, Roman Abramovich, once again shot down his marital vows with a third wife, 36-year old Magazine Editor, Dasha Zhukova. The divorce is coming after 10 years of marriage.
The couple, who have two children, said the split was amicable.
In a joint statement, they said: “After 10 years together, the two of us have made the difficult decision to separate, but we remain close friends, parents and partners in the projects we developed together.
“We are committed to jointly raising our two children. We will also continue to work together as co-founders of the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow and the New Holland Island cultural center in Saint Petersburg.”
The 50-year old Russian Oligarch, who is worth £7bn, is prepared to see through the divorce taunted as the most expensive divorce in the world.
They have a son, Aaron Alexander, and a daughter, Leah Lou together.
Abramovich married Zhukova in a private ceremony in 2008.
Abramovich has been married three times. In December 1987, he married Olga Yurevna Lysova;they divorced in 1990.
In October 1991, he married a former Russian Aeroflot stewardess, Irina Vyacheslavovna Malandina. They divorced in 2007. He and Malandina have five children; Ilya, Arina, Sofia, Arkadiy and Anna.
On 15 October 2006, the News of the World reported that Irina had hired two top UK divorce lawyers, following reports of Abramovich’s close relationship with the then 25-year-old Dasha Zhukova, the former girlfriend of the tennis player, Marat Safin and daughter of a prominent Russian Oligarch, Alexander Radkin Zhukov.
They were given a “quickie” divorce in Moscow in 2007, with the oligarch paying a settlement in the region of £150m, one of the largest ever seen.
